ASU Alumni — Arizona State University’s Drupal platform

The context

alumni.asu.edu is the alumni platform of Arizona State University, one of the largest universities in the United States. The site serves an enormous community: news, events, member benefits, giving and engagement journeys.

The problem

American higher education has its standards: strict brand governance, accessibility, high content volume and integrations with the institutional ecosystem. All of it on Drupal — the sector’s reference CMS — with teams distributed between the university and its partners.

What I did

Drupal development on the alumni platform: editorial features, brand-compliant themes and components, code quality and best practices — collaborating remotely with US-based teams.

The result

A maintainable platform serving alumni engagement, up to the demanding standards of American higher-ed.
